• The Fund for Our Economic Future is a nonprofit member-driven organization supported by a small, professional staff. Our members represent philanthropic organizations of all stripes from across the region, including foundations (private, corporate, community), corporations, education institutions, health care systems, business and civic associations, government entities, and individuals, who pool their resources and collective know-how to strengthen and sustain the Northeast Ohio economy and increase access to opportunity for all people. Our members all agree that a healthy economy is necessary to advance their diverse missions. Formed in 2004, our Fund has raised more than $100 million to improve regional economic competitiveness through pooled grantmaking, research and convening. We work in partnership with private and public sector leaders to align our activities in order to increase economic growth and opportunity within Northeast Ohio, a region responsible for nearly $200 billion per year in gross regional product (GRP) and encompassing more than 4 million people in and around the metropolitan areas of Akron, Canton, Cleveland, and Youngstown
