- New York Bay Capital (formerly Nymex Capital Partners) is a New York-based boutique investment banking firm experienced in providing financial advisory services in connection with mergers, acquisitions and capital raising initiatives primarily for foreign clients. The Firm was established in 2013 to serve the growing demand for independent, partner-level advice by clients based outside the United States participating in the growing cross-border economy. The Firm collaborates with financial affiliates and other partner firms to assist companies, from diverse industries, in structuring and financing transactions to achieve their overall corporate goals and financial objectives. Even though the Firm is based in New York City, where it keeps a staff of approximately 15, it has a direct presence in the following countries: Mexico (Mexico City and Puebla), Colombia (Bogota and Barranquilla), Peru (Arequipa), Chile (Santiago), Costa Rica (San Jose), Honduras (Tegucigalpa), Brazil (Sao Paulo and Rio) and a U.S. satellite office in Southern California (Costa Mesa). Julio Marquez, Managing Partner, has over 30 years' experience in cross-border M&A and investment banking. The Firm has representatives throughout the Western Hemisphere, including in Mexico, Canada, Central America, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru.
