    • The Central Baltimore Partnership (CBP) is a coalition of neighborhood, private, public and institutional interests that are implementing a comprehensive community development strategy in the Central Baltimore area. CBP and its partner organizations have united behind a comprehensive community development strategy in Central Baltimore an area that is roughly bordered by the Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus to the north, Mt. Royal Avenue, Maryland Institute College of Art and the University of Baltimore to the south, Greenmount Avenue to the east and the Jones Falls and Wyman Park area to the west. The Partnership fosters the arts and sustainable development in healthy, transit-oriented neighborhoods at the center of the Baltimore region.The CBP organizations have coalesced behind the Homewood Community Partners Initiative (HCPI), and CBP has adopted the HCPI agenda as its agenda, with these five topics of concern:Clean and safe neighborhoods;Blight elimination and housing creation;Public education;Commercial and retail development; andLocal hiring, purchasing and workforce development.
