- Hartt Transportation Systems, established in 1948, is the leading over-the-road transportation company in northern New England. We are headquartered in Bangor, ME with a state-of-the-art terminal in Auburn, ME, plus additional terminals in South Carolina and Kentucky. We move freight throughout the eastern portion of the country with a fleet of 385 late model vehicles a combination of flatbeds and dry vans hauling 1700 53' air-ride trailers.In a time of motor carrier consolidations and corporate ownership, Hartt Transportation Systems is extremely proud of its family ownership and management. But it is equally proud of the service and safety they provide to the industry and their customers. Hartt has been recognized as an industry leader by associations such as American Trucking Association's Safety Management Council, the Maine Motor Transport Association. And they have been named carrier of the year multiple times for many of its customers, including Nestle Waters, Poland Springs, Lowes and the Hub Group.Dedicated services are at the heart of Hartt Transportation.
