- yogitoes was founded in 2003, after CEO, Susan Nichols slipped on her yoga mat. This inspired her to invent the Skidless® Towel, a patented tool that prevents slipping. Since then, yogitoes has continued to create innovative products that help yoga practitioners of all levels and yoga styles deepen their practice.Susan is deeply committed to evolution. A certified yoga teacher by Sivananda and YogaWorks, with extensive travels throughout India, Asia, Europe, Africa, Central and South America, and the United States, and feels profound gratitude for all the teachers and guides she has learned from along her path. Susans personal journey has shaped the evolution of yogitoes.Yogas ethical precepts guide our everyday choices. Since yogitoes inception, we have had a conscious approach to sustainability and mindful practices, from manufacturing to overall operations to cause involvement, and continue to be a leader as a practicing social conscious company. At yogitoes, we do our best to align our heart and mind with our thoughts, words and actions - practicing yoga union on and off the mat by making decisions in all aspects of our business that reflect the yogic principles (referring to The Eight Limbs of Yoga from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras).We understand that all of our actions, no matter how small or large, have a powerful impact and is a part of the collective for positive change.
