• Knight Composites was started by Jim Pfeil, Beverly Lucas and Kevin Quan, three innovators, entrepreneurs and bicycle industry lifetime members. Knight set out to make the fastest proprietary bicycle wheel in the world, but also listed a number of boxes to check in the areas of improved braking safety and associated heat dissipation, stability in cross winds, stiffness and strength. Their 50+ years in the industry working independently and together on various composite products including some of the world's most celebrated and respected bicycle frames, forks, wheels and components earned them the knowledge and experience to take the complex and saturated world of high performance wheels to the next generation of manufacturing and performance capabilities, immediately rendering their competition 'older technology'. Knight is a new brand on the market, with a small staff spread across the globe that has been labelled everything from 'old dogs' to 'space cowboys', but their leadership in the areas of aerodynamics, innovation, technology and unyielding excellence in customer service certainly betrays their size. Perfectly alligned with a dedicated crew of designers and engineers from the world's best carbon manufacturers in an advanced composites facility in Taiwan, Knight are proud to share synergies and stand alongside some of the world's foremost bicycle manufacturers.
