• Hi-Crush is a leading producer and distributor of frac sand, a specialized mineral that is used in the hydraulic fracturing process for completing oil and natural gas wells. We currently produce our raw frac sand from Northern White sand reserves located in Wisconsin. In March 2017, we acquired raw frac sand reserves located in the Permian Basin of Texas and began constructing a 3 million ton per year production facility. Once completed, we will own and operate 13.4 million tons of annual frac sand production capacity. Our Wisconsin reserves are strategically located with direct access to major Class I railroads that allow for efficient distribution to in-basin terminals across all North American shale plays, while our Texas reserves are advantageously positioned within minimal trucking distance of significant Permian Basin completion activity. We also own and operate an integrated proppant logistics and distribution system, including an extensive in-basin terminal network and our PropStream containerized transportation and delivery solution, which completes the supply chain by delivering proppant into the blender at the well site.
