The four sources are layered together and represent visually information previously inaccessible to citizens. Residents and tourist alike can plan routes from point A to point B to minimize crime exposure, customize alerts for types of crime in demarcated areas (geofencing), and view trends over time. The platform is free to the public, but companies can purchase a subscription to a version specifically designed for security managers. Base also uses its proprietary data to design tailored solutions to businesss complex security problems.
