Career Coach Institute

Description

• Career Coach Institute was founded in January 2001 by Marcia Bench and has become the worlds premier source of career coach training and certification. After 16 years in career development, Bench determined that by adding coaching as a methodology to her existing career development knowledge, she not only got better results with her clients, but could teach others how to do career coaching as well.CCIs training is offered by a unique blended learning method which combines teleclasses, online content and physical study material kits (books, workbooks, CDs or audio downloads and online quizzes). It trains individuals and groups of employees in career coaching and offers the prestigious Certified Career Coach credential.CCI is one of more than 400 coach training programs currently in existence. Its courses are approved by the International Coach Federation for 30 Accredited Coach-Specific Training Hours (see www.coachfederation.org for details), which is important because ICF is the primary trade association and certification standard for coaching. The coaching training traces its origins to the early 1990s, and current tallies indicate that approximately 30,000 to 40,000 coaches are currently in practice. Coaching is the latest methodology through which to offer career development services. CCIs students come from all around the world, including nearly every state in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Korea, Taiwan, and Europe.
