• The John Bell Company began as many businesses do - with a passion and very few resources at hand. It was started by John Bell III in 1973 with one employee and a pickup truck. In the intervening years the company has grown to over 50 employees and provides construction services in South Eastern West Virginia and contiguous areas in Virginia. In addition to building and improving many homes for local residents, we have had the opportunity to be involved with many gratifying historic projects and some incredible homes at area resorts. We are proud to say that we have the in house ability to provide all phases of carpentry, cabinetry and even the ability to manufacture flooring and paneling. We make almost all of our own cabinets, flooring, paneling and moldings. Often, we are able to use salvaged antiques and reclaimed materials in our projects. This not only produces beautiful results, but is also enviormentally friendly. The John Bell Company's building supplies division has grown so much over the last three years that the company is able to sell custom lumber, flooring, cabinets and moldings to other builders and developers for their projects.Our in-house expertise in construction management, carpentry, custom cabinetry and many other disciplines allow us to accomplish your goal at a level of quality that is simply unmatched. The customer-contractor relationship is something we enjoy and cultivate to the point of thoroughly understanding our clients needs. Coupled with our experience and collaborative approach with architects and designers, we are the right choice for discerning clientele who insist owning the very best home.
