Peppers Ranch

Description

• Our MissionPeppers Ranch Foster Care Community seeks to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect through loving homes, counseling, and growth-oriented activities. By creating a network of caring foster parents and adult mentors on whom children can depend, Peppers Ranch is committed to providing a safe and secure environment where physical and emotional wounds can heal. Our VisionThe ultimate goal of Peppers Ranch's Foster Care Community is to become home to as many of Oklahoma's abused and neglected children as possible. These children, through no fault of their own, have been victimized by the very people who were supposed to love and protect them. By providing the necessary resources and services to foster parents, we sustain a commitment to the children in their care. And, our safe and nurturing community will inspire and equip each child to break the cycle, reach their full potential, and become productive citizens of society. Our Program Children entering the foster care system have many times been exposed to domestic violence, substance abuse and worse, by their parents and guardians. They often are the victims of neglect, emotional maltreatment, physical and sexual abuse. Also, they have been moved around frequently from their biological parents and within the foster care system. Without stability, they often experience social, emotional, developmental, and academic delays. Our programs are designed to help them successfully overcome these challenges.
