- Alive & Kickin Pizza Crust, a division of Port City Bakery, Inc., started manufacturing remarkable custom dough products in 1989. Six years later we introduced a line of self-rising pizza crusts, drawing on our founders vast experience in the pizza industry including operating pizzerias, manufacturing, and even the design and fabrication of our own equipment. Not long after that, we began making par-baked crusts to complement our live dough products. It wasnt long before we became the go-to manufacturer in the pizza industry for innovative ideas and winning recipes. In 2015 we acquired The Dough Shop, well known in the Midwest as the leader in high-quality frozen dough balls. Today, Alive & Kickin boasts a full line of pizza doughs, producing a wide variety of quality pizza crusts, flatbreads, and related dough products for restaurants, food service, and manufacturers.
