• Mission & Goals Of The Josephine County Information Technology DepartmentTo assist in reducing the cost, and increasing the efficiency and responsiveness of County government through the appropriate and effective application of information systems and telecommunications technology.To assist the Board of County Commissioners in improving the educational, vocational, and health opportunities, and the standard of living, of the citizens of Josephine County through the appropriate and effective application of information systems and telecommunications technology.To provide quality service and maximum customer satisfaction, to both the Operating Departments and other agencies of the County government, and to the citizens of Josephine County as directed by the Board of County Commissioners.The Information Technology Department provides computer service and support to the various departments in Josephine County. Services include application design and analysis, systems management, network administration, programming, training, and hardware and software installation and maintenance. Information Technology also maintains the County's telecommunications systems including telephones, radio systems and microwave facilities.
