    • Article One is an eyewear brand that exists at the intersection of style and the responsibility to do good. Wes Stoody founded Article One with a singular focus: to raise awareness and funding for vitamin A supplementation in developing countries. Wes was shocked to learn that nearly 500,000 children go blind each year from vitamin A deficiency, and within 12 months, half of those children die as a result of the disorder. What is even more shocking: it costs just one dollar for a years worth of supplements for one child. This is a very solvable problem. We accomplish this mission by donating a portion of each eyewear purchase to Helen Keller International. To date, we have donated enough to get a years worth of supplements to about 7,000 children. We want to do so much more. Partnering with the Lions would allow us to help many more children by spreading awareness. Along with our cause, we are just as passionate about creating stylish, high quality eyewear. That is why all our eyewear is made in Italy, using only the finest Italian materials.
