• Since 1997 the ICAF has served American children as their national arts organization and the world's children as their international arts organization. The ICAF fosters childrens creativity and imbues it with empathy through the arts, since creativity and empathy are key attributes today of successful learners and leaders as well as preconditions for sustainable prosperity and lasting peace. ICAF' programs cultivate imagination and creative critical thinking (the Arts Olympiad), reduce violence (the Peace through Art programs), and remediate suffering (the Healing Art programs).The World Children's Festival that the ICAF produces every four years on The National Mall as the 'Olympics' of children's imagination is a transformative experience for children who come to celebrate creativity, diversity, and unity. The ICAF's ChildArt magazine fosters childrens creative development and global competency.Pedagogy: Introduce children to the Artist-Athlete Ideal of the creative mind and healthy body and introduce teachers to STEAMS Education which integrates art (and culture) and sport (and play) with STEM disciplines for childrens holistic development.
