Thrapp Jewelers is a fiercely independent, brick and mortar retail jewelry company delivering outstanding individual service, quality, trust and excellence. G. Thrapp Jewelers is located at the corner of 56th and Illinois in the historic neighborhoods of Meridian Kessler and Butler Tarkington. When G. Thrapp opened, we did not carry a single designer line, but simply sold jewelry. Our owner, Gary Thrapp, took a risk on introducing our first designer jewelry line in 1986. We have carried David Yurman ever since then: long before the line gained significant presence around the world. We were, actually, the first retailer in Indiana to carry David Yurman. Since then, we have picked up more than 30 top designer jewelry and bridal lines including: Cynthia Ann, Samantha Louise, Lika Behar, Martin Flyer and Christopher Designs.Each member of G. Thrapp Jewelers professional sales staff is trained and responsible for buying, selling, appraising, and designing custom pieces for our clients.Garys passionate commitment to providing a genuine experience for our clients is modeled by each and every staff person. G. Thrapp Jewelers is a dedicated custom design jeweler. Head designer, Ellen Bower has created pieces for many of Indianapolis most influential families and celebrities. Clients love the intricate designs and complex detailing of her work, which is all fabricated by hand. Gary Thrapp has assembled one of the Midwests premiere collections of fine Estate jewelry.
