• Empathic Recovery is an intensive outpatient program strongly devoted to helping you get sober and stay sober. Why do we help?We have empathy for those struggling with addictions and alcoholism because we have been there ourselves.We ended up in Intensive Care Units confused, depressed, and disengaged from those whom we love. We were truly between a rock and a hard place. It wasnt until we asked for help that things started to change for us.What do we offer?Group CounselingIn our group counseling session each participant gets an opportunity to to share what is troubling them, hear solutions, and make lasting connections with supportive people. Each 3 hour group is run by one of our well seasoned therapists and has between 6 and 12 participants.Family TherapyOur family counseling sessions offer families of the addict a safe environment to voice their fears and frustrations, and to learn more about addiction and how they can help. Each session lasts one hour and is run by a counselor with numerous years of experience in Marriage and Family Therapy.Individual CounselingOur individual counseling sessions are meant for those already attending our groups to further expand on the work accomplished. Our one hour sessions provide an opportunity to gain further awareness, build individualized solutions, and learn to trust themselves and others in all aspects of their new life.
