• Du & Associates (D&A) is a minority woman-owned professional consulting firm founded in 1996, providing asset management, underwriting, financial, legislative, and other consulting services to the multifamily affordable, public, and assisted housing industry. Its principal, Lucie Du, has worked in the multifamily affordable housing industry since 1987, with experience in numerous FHA programs such as Section 8, Sections 202, Section 236, Section 221(d)3 and 221(d)4. D&A has provided technical assistance to several public housing authorities including Chester Housing Authority, Georgia HAP (a consortium of 10 Housing Authorities), and the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority (AMHA).D&As philosophy is to further the mission of providing and preserving affordable, decent, safe and sanitary housing through efficient, and cost-effective systems, a multiple-tier approach to quality control and assurance, and an organizational structure formed by a hands-on, long-term, highly-educated and skilled staff with a proven track record for performance.Since 2000, D&A, through its joint ventures, Michigan Multifamily Asset Managers (MMAM) and Pennsylvania Multifamily Asset Managers (PMAM), have been performing the asset management core tasks under the Performance Based Contract Administration (PBCA) program for HUD through the State Housing Finance Agencies.
