• SunCloud Health is a private outpatient treatment center located 20 miles north of Chicago for adolescents and adults struggling with co-occurring disorder, addictions, trauma, and PTSD. When people are in their addiction, they are dealing with emotional pain and often suffering from a loss, self-medicating, feeling a sense of alienation and loss of meaning. They are seeking to regain a sense of control, something which makes them feel better. Addiction is an attempt to solve a problem and just to be or feel normal. When our patients tell us their addictive substance feels like a warm soft hug and without it they wont have pain relief or escape from their misery, we know the treatment for this is anything but quick and easy. Our approach is highly individualized and integrative. We meet our patients, where they are at. We diagnose and treat through a comprehensive, personalized lens.
