Working with local, state, and national partners, Nebraska Children cultivates the good life for all of our children, from cradle to career. We envision a Nebraska where all children have the resources and support needed to realize their full potential. Nebraska Children and Families Foundation has a unique approach to solving large, complex social issues that affect our states children. Its based on two core beliefs:1. Prevention works. Its the most effective and fiscally responsible approach for addressing complex social problems.2. Channeling a communitys existing resources toward a common goal will maximize their effectiveness.Every initiative we undertake aligns with these principles. Our programs are preventive in nature, designed to keep children out of the welfare and criminal justice systems from birth through age 24. And our approach encompasses all the resources a community has to offer, helping to ensure community ownership of the process and outcomes. The end goal is to prepare all of Nebraskas children for success in school and in life.
