Smirniotopoulos, AIA in 1995 to provide Planning, Design and Interior Design services specializing in the Life Care market. DSI Architects commitment to provide quality Design and Service is evident by his continuing working relationships with Clients such as Kingston HealthCare Co, Elmwood Communities, Sunrise, ExtendiCare Company, Rosewood Village, McIntosh Company and others. The firms philosophy is based on listening to the Client, understanding the project and Client vision and creatively illustrating solutions that will make a meaningful difference to the Client and ultimately to the individual Resident. The firms approach is based on the Pre-Design interaction and collaboration with the Client to establish and validate the project Vision and Pro-forma. DSI Architects believes that meaningful Design should be in balance with technical and operational excellence. The firms staff specializes in the Life Care market in all its forms such as Skilled Nursing, Rehab Centers, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living and Group Homes. The firm has planned, designed and constructed over a hundred Senior Care projects both new construction and renovation during the past nineteen years. We believe in collaboration with other Architects and the firm has been a Specialty Consultant with Beery Rio Architects, Maddox NBD Architects, Tanner Stone Architects, PDC Architects, Perspectus Architecture and Davis Wince Architects in recent years.
