• We provide full service Medical Billing and collections for all payor types (Medicare, PPO, PI, etc), and we have special expertise in California Workers' Compensation, Collections and WCAB Litigation. We handle Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Psychiatry and Psychology, Pain Management, PQME/AME's, Acupuncture, Chiropractic and all related services and goods. It is our mission in 2015 to be the leading edge in billing and collections for our providers. We've absorbed the major changes of SB863 and now assist our providers in updating their own offices, including Requests for Authorization and Independent Bill and Medical Reviews requests, We of course provide electronic billing with up to date coding and the required ICD10. Our team understands that billing involves a lot more than simply sending out your bills and hoping they will be paid: we vigorously follow up on unpaid bills, and file SBR's (Second Bill Review Requests) on all improperly paid claims. This can result in thousands of additional dollars paid on shorted surgeries and other claims. We also bill and collect Medical Legal services (PQME and AME's), and demand P&I and costs on all late-paid or shorted evaluations. Our office drafts 4622 Petitions on all improperly paid or denied Med Legals to enforce payment and required Penalties. Our Work Comp Litigation Department accesses EAMS, CompData, files Liens, DOR's and attends hundreds of WCAB hearings on behalf of our clients at every WCAB in the state. Some providers send us only their A/R to collect, because we have so much experience and success in this field. Lien Collections and Litigation has been a major focus and strength of ours since Westshore began as a business in 1988.
