Both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry state children should visit a pediatric dentist six months after their first tooth erupts or by their first birthday. Preventative care should start early to ensure children have a lifetime of oral health.Kids now can get their Kidd Smile Bucks card and earn points for appointments, referrals, playing games and contests.
