Get Full AccessDescription
- Have you ever wondered where businesses and people dispose of their unwanted equipment? Most commonly, usable electronics and furniture end up in the trash which becomes e-waste. By 2025, e-waste will double in landfills to make room for new state-of-the-art equipment or stored in warehouses until sold. What is the solution? Community reinvestment. Refurban redeploys unwanted usable items at affordable prices to reduce divides in low-income communities; while stimulating the local economy. Profit from resold products help offset operational cost for our e-waste de-manufacturing initiative; that trains and employs re-entering ex-felons, people with unique abilities, at-risk youth and returning veterans. When items cant sell, our trained staff disassemble them for parts and recirculate them into feedstock to be repurposed. What can you do? 1. Donate your surplus assets for a tax deduction Schedule a pickup or drop off and receive a tax deduction receipt from our participating non-profit partner. 2. Shop with Us Save money and the Planet.
