• If Lean Thinking is a business system / business model (and it is), then it makes sense that all functional units of a business have a role in supporting this system. Accounting, Sales, HR, IT, etc. can all play a positive role in lean, or too often, hinder lean through traditional (antiquated) ways of operating.We set out in 2005 to address this. Our aim is to enlighten everyone in an organization so that they understand how they can best support the lean business model.
