First Wave Networks is a Wireless Internet Service Provider(Wisp) with a mission to provide ubiquitous, cheap and reliable broadband internet services utilizing Long Range Wi-Fi Technology to provide Universal Broadband Wireless(UBW) access to customers, without the need to purchase additional customer premises equipment (CPE) or modem devices due to the penetration of Wi-Fi on a global scale, most communication device manufacturers for computers, tablets and smartphones all incorporate Wi-Fi as an industry standard in their product devices. Other proprietary and interoperable technologies adopted for telecommunication companies such as LTE, GSM, CDMA and Wimax technologies are expensive to deploy and requires recursive maintenance expenditures, these technologies are always incompatible with it peers due to vendor lock ins thus in effect failing in creating a universal and compatible platform for all communication devices. The popularity of Wi-Fi technology on all platforms grants First Work Networks the strategic advantage to deliver network and internet services directly to its customer without the need for an Add-on equipment on the customer end freeing them the extra burdens of physical infrastructural additional installation and recursive maintenance costs.
