• Purpose: To empower people to improve their health and wellness Vision:Making Tai Chi for Health accessible to everyone for health and wellness The institute was founded by Dr Paul Lam and his master trainers in 2009 to empower people to improve their health using the Tai Chi for Health programs. In 1997, Dr. Paul Lam, a family physician and tai chi expert, worked with a team of tai chi and medical specialists to create the Tai Chi for Arthritis program. Since then they have created a series of Tai Chi for Health programs to improve peoples wellbeing and quality of life. These programs are supported by many organizations including the Arthritis Foundation of America, Australia and Singapore; Osteoporosis Australia; Arthritis Care, UK; universities and governments from different countries.
