• Pearls with Purpose (PWP) is a beautifully created organization that strives to increase self-reliance and transform lives through micro-enterprise development. PWP consists of two individually structured entities. Pearls with Purpose Foundation (PF) a non-profit, 501c3 and Pearls with Purpose Partners (P2) a for profit social impact company. Working together we set up and train disadvantaged women in the art of jewelry making, and then purchase the finished pieces, ensuring the success of each micro-enterprise operation. Our product is quality jewelry made with authentic Pearls, Austrian Swarovski Crystals, and other natural gemstones, high quality silver and gold including sterling silver and 10K gold. Our lives today reach beyond our own neighborhoods and cities as the World Wide Web brings the whole world into our homes and hearts. Those that have, are aware of those that dont, and people of abundance want to do help. PWP gives people the chance to do that without asking for handouts. The social component of our company sets us apart from other for profit organizations that only sell products, or non-profit organizations that depend on donations or even companies that sell non-purposeful trinkets at high prices to fund their organizations. The idea of helping others while beautifying yourself at a reasonable price, and in the process changing the world, is an elegant combination. Our handcrafted jewelry is priced far below regular jewelry stores pricing with the added benefit of the purchasers dollars providing opportunities for improvised people to feed their families and send their kids to school. Since 2002 our founder, Wendy Bird, has worked tirelessly to help others. In 2012 she partnered up with Julie Orrock and the two of them formed Pearl Partners with a desire to increase their social impact exponentially. With the launching of our new AccessoRISE program we can now expand our reach and help even more families.
