• The US Oil & Gas Association (originally the Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association) was founded in October 1917 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, following the United States entry into World War I.For more than eight decades, in good times and bad, the Association has been a strong advocate for the individuals who built and sustain the U.S. petroleum industry. The Associations long history is one of distinguished service to the petroleum industry and to our countrys economic and strategic stability. It is recognized today as ...a proven and respected advocate for producers of domestic oil and gas.The US Oil & Gas Association is the only national association with Divisions in the states along the vital Gulf of Mexico (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Mississippi/Alabama).
