St Clair founded her company in Florence, Italy, beginning her partnership with the worlds finest goldsmiths - the centuries-old Florentine jewelers' guild. Barneys New York inaugurated their fine jewellery department with St. Clairs first collection in 1986. Uncompromising in her choice of materials and execution, St. Clair explores themes that are meaningful to her through a delightful lens of whimsy and discovery. Her critically acclaimed nine-piece collection of Haute Couture, Mythical Creatures from the Golden Menagerie, made its début at the Louvre Museum in Paris in January 2015. The second chapter of the Golden Menagerie trilogy, Wings of Desire, will also be presented in Paris during the Haute Couture, July 2016, at the Louvre.Temple St. Clair's jewels are treasured by devoted collectors.
