- Illinois Sports Business Conference (ISBC) was started by a group of students who saw an opportunity to fill the gap of knowledge and resources between the sports industry and the business world. The ISBC team works together throughout the year to put on an annual conference hosting elite leaders and professionals in the sports industry. Through various workshops, networking events, and an annual conference ISBC fosters relationships and creates a roadmap for students to find their path in the sports business. The next conference is being planned for Friday, February 26th, 2016. Creating this conference provides students the opportunity to learn from leading professionals, develop networking relationships, and explore possible careers in the field. ISBC is composed of executive board members individually managing teams with specific responsibilities including but not limited to, alumni relations, finances, public relations and media. The conference will host a variety of speakers with prestigious backgrounds to give students a competitive edge when determining their niche in the sports business world.
