• Opened to the public in 2011, the Obsidian Wellness Centre in Spain quickly established itself as an industry leader, particularly in the field of weight loss and type 2 diabetes reversal. Developed by Andrew and Carol West, Its gentle and holistic approach to weight loss and controlling serious health conditions through the successful Obsidian Programme means it is accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Andrew and Carol have developed a programme based on research and studies by leading advocates for plant-based diets including Dr Neal Bernard (author of Reversing Diabetes through Diet), Dr Colin Campbell (author of The China Study) and Dr Caldwell Essletyne (author of Reversing Heart Disease). At Obsidian we use juicing as part of our scientifically proven programme to help people with weight loss, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and other conditions. Many of our success stories started with a juice cleanse before moving onto our plant based food programme or a combination or the two. Following the success of the juice and food programmes at the Wellness Centre, Obsidian Juices was born in the UK, which allows customers to follow the programme from the comfort of their own home.
