- I volunteer at AS220, a nonprofit community arts space in downtown Providence, RI. Their mission is to provide an unjuried and uncensored forum for the arts. I assist Scott Lapham in a program called Photographic Memory. It is a unique program in which Rhode Island's underserved youth learn the craft of photography while gaining real-world experience by working as an apprentice to a professional photographer. Currently, we are working on building a digital gallery of photos to aid in the following ways: promote our program, offer more opportunities to show in galleries, and produce/sell products like calendars to gain more funding for our program. We meet on a weekly basis to achieve these goals.
