• The firm of Don Hammerberg Associates was founded in 1968 in the historic village of Farmington where it has been engaged in the general practice of architecture for the last 45 years. Our broad range of experience has been built on over 2,000 completed projects of varying size and scope throughout New England and New York. The practice has designed virtually all the building types that encompass a community: churches, schools, housing and businesses. More than 60% of our work has been from repeat clientele. The goals of the firm have been to artistically replicate natural themes, and to functionally produce well detailed buildings that attempt to simplify the contractors work with the most economical construction budget. The modest size of our office does not diminish our commitment to technology and service. In-house we are able to create and deliver construction documents and custom specifications, construct models and develop color presentations. The continuity of projects succeed because of our unique combination of a studio atmosphere and the close collaboration of the Principal, Don Hammerberg.
