Renovations in 2014-15 added four bedrooms and made all shared bathrooms into private bathrooms.The Ronald McDonald House Within the Hospital opened in January 2005: Located on the 5th floor of Golisano Childrens Hospital at Strong; 4,000 square feet, seven bedrooms accommodating two people each; seven baths; kitchen/lounge area; laundry facilities; serving the families of the most critically ill children.Ronald McDonald Family Room opened July 2015. It is located on the Lobby Level of the new Golisano Childrens Hospital, the Family Room allows pediatric patients and family members to take a break from the hospital room. Open 9am to 9pm daily, guests will find complimentary beverages and snacks, wifi, TVs, laundry and shower facilities.
