• Kathrens Holdings was formed in 2007 as a holding company for WK Plasterers Ltd and it's associate company,Carbis Properties Ltd. WK Plasterers Ltd was set up in 1971 providing operatives to the Volume New Build Sector. More recently, the holding company also includes a main contracting arm, KEEBS (Kathrens Energy Efficient Build Systems).Carbis Properties Ltd works as a property developer, with a portfolio of over 50 houses within the RCT borough. Whilst maintaining these properties, the company is also working with RCT Council in forming a unique model for the refurbishment of out of use and out of repair properties. The company Carbis, will purchase the empty houses, seek grant aid from Welsh Government and refurbish them up to DQR standard, using our contracting arm KEEBS. The refurbished properties will then be leased to a housing association. This scheme is critical at the current time, where social homes are short, particularly those that already exist in current communities, near amenities.Keebs, the contracting arm of the holding company demonstrates expert deliverance of both refurbishment work, as well as new build. Its activities fall mainly in to two categories:1. Design and construction of our steel system for new build where we provide an envelope service to achieve code level 4 at greater cost and speed efficiency than traditional build.2. Design and implementation of a Energy Efficient Retro Fit Build system to existing traditional built units
