• Cancer Pathways (formerly Gilda's Club) offers a community-based program of social, emotional and educational support for people living with cancer along with their loved ones. Programs are offered in Seattle and throughout the region with partners in varied locations such as hospitals, community centers and schools. Some of our unique programs include: When Cancer Comes to Work What happens when an employee gets a cancer diagnosis? What if the spouse or parent of an employee has cancer and they become the caregiver? Can you work during treatment? Employers and employees need to know the answers. Cancer Pathways has been providing answers to questions like these in a variety of work environments for the past ten years. Contact Kit Herrod at kit@cancerpathways.org for details. Cancer Education for Teens CET is a cancer prevention and information presentation offered to high school health education classes throughout Puget Sound. Camp Sparkle Four weeks of free summer camp in Seattle, Tacoma, the Eastside and Everett. Kids and teens experience music, art, crafts, games, exercise, theater, therapy dogs, field trips and much more! Cancer Unwrapped Writing Contest We offer writing contests for students to share their experiences with cancer for the opportunity to win cash prizes.
