    • Life Adventure Center is a nonprofit outdoor educational center nestled on almost 1000 beautiful acres in heart of the Bluegrass region of Kentucky. We changes lives thru outdoor adventure. Our camps and retreats build resiliency, communication, teambuilding and leadership skills. So much more than mere recreation- our innovative outdoor adventures employ evidence based theories of experiential education, group dymanics, psychology and trauma recovery to achieve life-changing, break-thru transformations. Our programs help veterans heal from PTSD, military families reconnect, and impoverished kids build resilience. Serving 600 participants in 2016, we also work with mainstream clients including schools, universities, sports teams and even corporate groups. Our team is passionate about the healing power of guided outdoor adventures. Tight-knit, mutually supportive, casual (dog-friendly) yet professional workplace.
