Tango's Haus was established in 1965 with just a wonderful little Poodle named Starlight's Golden Hay. I was a secretary/bookkeeper at that time and showed and bred Poodles as a hobby until 1981, when I and my husband, George, decided that I needed to stay home to take care of the family. I still needed to bring in a salary and so I started manufacturing Paula's Leather Goods and Paula's Pet Supplies along with branching out to training dogs for Schutzhund, Dual Purpose Drug Dogs and SAR dogs. I also knew a wonderful Korung judge and his beautiful wife in Germany and imported many wonderful working dogs for people in the United States and accorss the world. That is how I came to become involved in the German Biewers and instantly fell in love with the breed through a little girl that I took from a friend to rehome. Her name was Angel and she became my Angel. She was not a good specimen of the breed, but she was perfect for me as a pet and she is still with me today. I imported the Biewers for others for years before I actually imported a pair of baby girls for my own kennel for show purposes. I now show, breed and train a few Biewers as well as a few Tiny Toy, Toy and Miniature Poodles, which I have loved forever.I lost the love of my life this year in March, when George, my husband of 41 years, passed away from complications with a bone marrow transplant. I am going to start showing again in early 2014, as that is what he would have wanted me to do. He wanted to have this last chance at living, but he was called home to be with God and I will be with him again one day.I welcome anyone and everyone to my home to see my Poodles and Biewers where I will welcome my first Chocolate and Biro early this next year from Germany and I will start their show careers as well.I still manufacture the original Puppy Pouch and other Tango's Haus Pet Supplies, which you can view on both of my websites; http://www.tangoshaus.com & http://www.bieweryorkie.net
