- Apperson Crump PLC, is the oldest continuously operating law firm in Memphis, Tennessee, having been founded in 1865 by Charles W. Metcalf, grandfather of Charles Metcalf Crump. The reputation of the firm is demonstrated by recognition given its members by its peers.
