- Project Management for Change is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise the profile of the Project Management profession while supporting the nonprofit community in meeting their toughest challenges. We help nonprofits leverage project management best practices and provide pro bono project management services to nonprofits so that they can deliver their mission and get things done! At our inaugural event on January 19, 2015, Martin Luther King Jr. day (a national day of service), we partnered with Taproot Foundation and 5 PMI chapters to hold an event of unprecedented scale by providing Project Management as a pro bono service directly to nonprofit organizations. We matched 350 project managers with 100 nonprofit organizations to scope and plan 100 projects in ONE DAY. We set a world record at this event! Then, Houston PMI held a PMDoS in October followed by our 2nd event in the DC area in 2016! Now we are doing it AGAIN on January 16, 2017 and we WELCOME YOU TO JOIN US!
