Mckinney York Architects

Description

• Inside the McKinney York studio, we share an ethos to create beautiful, responsible architecture in a culture of collaboration. For 30 years, this thinking has guided the conceptual dialogue and direction for our diverse commissions, from chilling stations and branded workspaces to custom homes. Our reputation for timeless design free of a signature style is well known, as is our expertise in tackling the unusual and idiosyncratic project. Our work emerges from collaborations among the architects and designers inside our studio and with our clients, contractors and consultants. With each commission, we draw inspiration from client goals, the project program and distinguishing qualities of the site. Clients tell us they value our ability to design in a way that reflects their needs uniquely. We love the trust clients experience through our collaborations that allow us to give them not unpleasant surprises, but rather the unexpected elegant solution. These qualities of collaboration and sustained design excellence earned McKinney York the 2007 Firm Achievement Award from AIA Austin. 2013 year marks our firms 30th anniversary. Here through our Linked In Business Page, weve chosen to celebrate 30 years of collaboration. We welcome your voice in this dialogue.
