Catalina Offshore Products, Inc.
Get Full AccessDescription
- Founded in 1977, Catalina Offshore Products is one of Southern Californias premier seafood purveyors and San Diegos only exporter of sea urchins. As a primary receiver of fresh fish and shellfish, we specialize mainly in wild and farmed species found along the West Coast and Baja. Nearly 75 percent of the seafood we sell is sustainable and much of it is sushi grade. When our company was founded nearly 40 years ago, it was based on bringing California sea urchin to the market via live product and processed uni trays. This continues to be a central item in our wholesale operation. Today our product line includes a wide range of sushi grade fish and high quality fresh and frozen seafood. In addition to wholesale and restaurants, we serve U.S. internet retail customers by providing fresh seafood shipped to their door. In 2012 we expanded our customer base even further by opening our Seafood Education and Nutrition Center featuring a walk-in fish market.
