- Dog Parker believes people and their dogs are happier when they can be together. We think its time to make cities smarter for dogs. The idea for Dog Parker was inspired by our dog, Winston, a terrier-mix rescue who lives in Brooklyn, NY. He has a lot of energy and suffers from a severe case of FOMO (fear of missing out). Unfortunately, a lot of places wont allow dogs inside even for short errands so Winston misses out. As a solution, we created the Dog Parker so that the Winstons of the world can enjoy more time with their owners while safely exploring the city life. Cities are already investing in tech-based innovations that improve the quality of its residents. We think its important to make the cities smarter for dogs too. Were doing our part by harnessing the power of great design and technology to better enable dog-friendlier communities. We believe communities are stronger when people (and their dogs) are outdoors and able to interact in serendipitous ways. For business owners, being a Dog Parker host means providing dog owners with safe, clean, comfortable and monitored environment for short stays, thereby broadening your appeal to and connection with dog owners.
