• The mission of The Lost & Found Association is to reduce levels of depression and suicide among young adults by: Delivering supportive education and resources Empowering family and friends to engage in healthy conversation Encouraging a lifetime pursuit of physical, emotional, and psychological wellness Lost & Found is more than just another awareness organization. We seek holistic solutions for young adults suffering from depression or suicidal ideation, providing services such as peer mentorship, active and anonymous reporting, and capacity building for community coalitions to address all aspects of suicide prevention. Today, Lost & Found's strength is its expertise and exposure in campus-based outreach and capacity building for suicide prevention. Lost & Found works together with student leaders and advisers to operate chapters at The University of South Dakota, South Dakota State University, and Dakota State University. We continue to seek growth in our home state of South Dakota and expand our reach throughout the United States. Our work is about more than just saving lives; we focus on what it means to live life well.
