• The Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance (WISTAX) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to public-policy research and citizen education about state and local government finances. The state's oldest and most respected private government-research organization, WISTAX has been promoting better government and an informed citizenry through its publications, public outreach, and school programs since 1932.WISTAX takes no government money. It does no lobbying or advocacy. It is not affiliated with any other state, national or local organization.
