- Integrated BioTherapeutics Inc (IBT) is the 2009 Emerging Company of the Year in Maryland. IBT is a research-based company dedicated to development of vaccines and biotherapeutic molecules targeting emerging infectious agents. We are located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Our primary areas of focus is on Ebola and Marburg viral hemorrhagic fevers and staph aureus. IBT is developing a panfilovirus vaccine under a contract with NIAID. In addition IBT is also testing an SEB vaccine in phase I trials sponsored by NIH. IBT has a close working arrangement with many of the United States government agencies including the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institute of Health (NIH), and the Department of Defense (DOD). IBT Bioservices is our contract R&D services business. IBT Bioservices is developing screening assays and disease models to identify antiviral and antibacterial compounds and therapeutics for client companies.
