• Barry A. Swartz graduated from DePaul University in 1964 with a B.S. in Commerce and received his Certified Public Accounting certificate in 1967. After close to a decade's worth of work experience as a CPA, Barry decided to start his own accounting practice. As a result, in 1976, Swartz & Reeder was incorporated. Barry started Swartz & Reeder with the intent of providing his clients with the most quality, dependable accounting and tax services. To this day, nothing about Barry's intentions has changed - he continues to strive for excellence as an accounting professional. The company philosophy at Swartz & Reeder is a byproduct of Barry's passion for quality service. We at Swartz Financial Management share a common belief: put forth maximum effort toward every client, no matter how big or how small. Our clients should expect from us nothing less than high quality service and maximum effort at all times. Barry is a family man. He and his wife Sherry have been together for over forty seven years. They have two daughters and five grandchildren. Being the family man he is, Barry has operated a successful business for over thirty five years by treating his clients and staff like they are a part of his family.
