Ingenium

Description

• Ingenium is the leading hazardous waste management provider with a focus on providing sustainable solutions prior to implementing traditional disposal options. The companys expertise in packaging, transportation, recycling, repurposing, reusing and hazardous waste disposal is combined with an emphasis on cost, risk and liability reduction, as well as societal responsibility. In addition to sustainable solutions, Ingenium also offers traditional hazardous waste management, technical services, and a professional consulting, permitting and industrial hygiene complement. Ingenium created the pioneering Orphan Chemical Program that arranges for the transfer of title and shipment of useable hazardous chemicals (that otherwise would be treated as waste) to new owners. In California, Ingenium established the Emerald Energy Program wherein biological, hazardous and other waste types that were traditionally suitable only for landfill disposal or incineration are used to power local and state electrical grids. In addition to these established programs, Ingenium is researching and innovating new ways to recycle or reuse biohazardous materials formerly considered only suitable for the landfill. Their goal is to help companies and organizations worldwide meet and exceed sustainability objectives. For the third year in a row, Ingenium was named by Inc.com as one of the top 100 fastest growing environmental services/hazardous waste disposal companies in the nation.
