The Association for Utah Genetic Counselors (AUG) is a professional organization for genetic counselors. Our mission is to promote communication and support among genetic counselors in the state of Utah and also to provide genetic education and promotion of the genetic counseling profession. AUG will provide a variety of activities for its members including educational meetings offering continuing education units (CEUs) and networking opportunities. To further promote education about the genetic counseling profession, AUG and its members host a yearly career camp. This career camp provides a glimpse into the exciting profession of genetic counseling and includes speakers from a variety of specialties including prenatal, pediatric, oncology, adult genetics and industry. This career camp will also provide information about genetic counseling training programs and tips on the application process.
